Parish Plan - We Need your Help

As you all know CAN was established to manage the Netherfield Parish Plan. A number of working Groups are investigating the main issues raised in the plan. If you have any views or ideas on how some of the issues should be addressed please contact us. CAN stands for Community Action in Netherfield – we can’t take Action if we don’t have your views!

Community Building. CAN is considering what features should be included in the proposed
community building. Do you have any suggestions?

Footpaths. It is intended to produce a number of leaflets detailing the numerous walks around Netherfield. We would like to know which walks you think should be included. We would be pleased to hear from any local business who would consider advertising or sponsorship. Volunteers to check the walks are also required.

Speeding. This is an important issue which has been raised at a number of forums. Should there be any changes to the speed limits? How can they be enforced?

Transport. CAN will be entering into discussions with the appropriate authorities shortly. What are the issues you want raised?

For CAN to be able to deliver progress on the plan, we need the support of volunteers in the
community. More help and expertise is always required. If you have a particular skill or are prepared to give some time, you will be very welcome.
